Problem is I only see 6.5 treadles. Is this me or did something get cut off?

Carie, click on the picture and it enlarges the draft to full size, the preview cuts off the edges for some reason...

I found a error in your draft above. You accidentially added an extra pick. Delete pick 40 (top row) and it works perfectly. Thanks for posting the draft, its beautiful.

KEY

it looks to that if I move threads on shaft 7 to shaft 8 I would be able to get a plain weave ground with standard 1357,2468 tie up for tabby.

has anyone tried this?

ReedGuy

There is no need for multi-pedal treadling in this and it would create a bunch of conflicts for a countermarche tie-up. Same number of treadles and no skeleton tie-up needed here. A plain weave end on a twill just causes a flared hem. Just end on one row of stitchers.

Notes

This is the three-strand Celtic braid that I used for my wedding dress, but simplified in pattern so it can be woven on seven shafts and ten treadles.
