After a 15 yr hiatus, I am returning to weaving!

My first problem is that my Inca bobbin winder's belt is old and cracked, and the bobbin keeps slipping.  Right now its got some tied together rubber bands, but its not smooth.  Can you help me past this small bump on my path back to weaving!

Can you show a picture of your winder and what type of belt it uses. michael

I'm still figuring out how to do things here, but here is a bit more info. The existing belt, when stretched slightly, is 11 inches.  The distance between the spindle of the bobbin holder and the center of the part you crank to wind is 5 inches.  The larger wheel that is hand cranked has a diameter of 5 3/4 inches.  The belt itself is square (not flat).  Thanks for your help.

That looks just like a Schacht winder, to my eye. You might look to see what size their replacement belts are.

I've had the Woolery make custom belts

Aren't the belts just O-rings? Maybe you can ask at a hardware shop where you might find an O-ring that size. Maybe an automotive shop? I would bring the winder with me :)
