I'm addicted to the loom ads, and recently have found two very interesting looms for sale.   Both look home made, but are beautiful.

or the "Loom of the Shepherdess", much smaller and somewhat less elaborate looms, made by Golding — the drop spindle company.

That first one is spectacular! It looks like it came right out of a fairytale. I wonder if it weaves nettles into cloth of gold... Some day this novice dreams of owning a loom like that!

Yes, they are both pretty interesting, and show good wood working skills.  That second one seems to be sold now, as the listing was closed recently, but all the little sayings carved into it are an interesting touch.
