Folks -
As of this summer, I am the proud owner of an eight harness, 24" Macomber. It came to me mostly put together. As I get the rest of the parts installed, I am hoping you all will be willing to answer my questions. My first question is: Does it matter which direction the hooks for the harnesses face? I realize they should all face the same direction, but towards the front or the back of the loom?
I have been weaving for 40 years, but have never owned a Macomber loom. My other loom is a Norwood, 52", four harness.
