This is a long shot, but has anyone used this pattern from Handwoven May/June 1989? It is for Soft Basket-Weave Pillowcases. It is an 8-shaft pattern, with plain-weave selvedges. The right selvedge is threaded 1,2,3,4 and it is fine. The left selvedge is threaded 5,6,7,8 and this is not being caught when weaving the basket-weave (but is being caught in the plain weave section). The pattern is by Barbara Smith Eychaner - does anyone know how to get in touch with her? I have checked, and I have not made any threading or treadling mistakes.

If the right selvedge is fine, why not just rethread the left one to match the right one?

Thanks. I think I've worked out the solution with the pattern's author.
