A short time ago I invoiced a customer using Pay Pal for $810.00 and was charged $23.79 by Pay Pal for this transaction. 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction. I know this is the cost of doing business. But I want to stay in business so I will start charging Pay Pal and credit card customers 3%. I talked about doing this last year but never did it. This time I have to; I have a ton of money out right now for yarn being dyed (10/2) and now this order of 16/1 Supima. The big yarn supply companies sell their yarn for two or three times what I sell my yarn for to cover these charges. So if you want me to have this on hand when you order then I also will have to raise my prices. I will still have the lowest prices of anyone.

The 3% add on will happen December 1st, 2017 and the across the board price increase of 15% will happen January 1, 2018.

I know people talk about the high cost of shipping, just check your gasoline price. But you are having a few pounds shipped. At times I am paying to ship hundreds and even thousands of pounds of yarn from one mill to a other mill or dye house. This is one of the reasons for the price increase. On December 24th, 2017 UPS is raising their shipping rates. I am figuring the post office and FedEx will also increase their rates in January.
