Hello Everyone!

I am planning a linen project and realized (since I have not woven with linen before) that I have no idea how much it will shrink. I have never had a linen shirt shrink but that is not straight off the loom. does any one have a good percentage so I am able to plan appropriately?

Linen does not shrink more than about 5% off loom. When planning your project adjust your sett accordingly - that is, do not leave the fabric more open than you'd like after finishing.

Cotton shrinks up and is much firmer after wet finishing, not so linen - it is sort of WYSIWYG - what you see is what you get.
