Does peaches and cream (or other cotton yarns of similar weight and ply) have enough twist to use as warp?  I want to make some placemats using it in warp and weft, but a question has come up as to whether the low twist would cause the warp threads shred and break.  ??

used peaches and cream and sugar and crème cotton as a warp on my RH loom but don't know if I would try it on the floor loom with heavier tension.

I have used it several times as warp, under reasonably high tension. No problem.

I have woven with this yarn, on a floor loom, under decent tension. It was okay to weave, the project turned out fine. But, when I washed it the first time, I was amazed at all the pills that formed. Below is the project post if you want to see more.

(Don't forget, you can search "peaches and cream" or "sugar and cream" to see if there are other project posts here at Weavo.)

I used it for baby blankets and weave under high tension.  I had no problems.
