Dawn's been REMARKABLY helpful in answering my questions via email, and I just found this group. I'm glad I'm here!
My 'new' Varpa came home with me on Thursday. I've got her mostly set up, just waiting for more heddles to arrive, as I didn't get nearly enough with the loom purchase.
I've read through several of the old posts and learned what I think are helpful tips. Thanks, weavers!
I have a curiosity question - how many years ago did Varpapuu start & stop making looms, specifically Finlandias? I'd love to be able to age my loom, and the woman I bought it from hadn't had it for long and didn't know much about its history.
