This is my new Bergman, recently purchased in Clarkston, Washington.  No model number is visible, just the patent no US2057997.

It was purchased in 1952.

It is a 45 inch reed, 8 treadle, 4 harness, countermarch loom.

Tuesday:  I have a Bergman as well.  I got mine a few years back as a first loom.  If you want more history check on The Spinning Wheel Sleuth site.  Florence has a Handloom Supplement devoted to the Bergmans.  I do know that the number stamped on them don't mean anything.  The story is that the warehouse stamped them for effect (looks "professional") but there is no pattern or record.  There are, however, patent documents that you can find online that will show you all the parts and the dates regarding your model.  The Kitsap Historical Museum has a display and the Swedish historical museum in Seattle has most of Margaret Bergman's books, drafts, and a collection of her looms.  I would like to sell my Bergman.  Is there a market there in the northwest?  I'm in the south and there's not much interest.
