1st photo is my backstrap neatly bundled and held together with two elastic bands 
This photo is with it attached to the door for me to weave 
I had a problem because I lost tension on the green threads after I had woven for the first time. Answer - pencils and rubber bands 
above is the shuttle I made - below the one that came with it. I am really looking forward to using both longer ones
