This was my first "official" project...a plain weave scarf as a gift for my mom. Up until this point, I had been playing with plain weave with a single color weft, then practicing with 2-color weft, making LOTS of samplers. For this project, I decided to do a 2-color weft, then added the red stitching down the left side of the scarf since I was changing shuttle sticks on the right side, and you could see the "jump" from one section to another. I also did hemstiching for the first time...much nicer than tying knots at the fringe ends. It's made out of inexpensive acrylic yarns...and was VERY soft. My mom loved it! I don't remember the length/width on the loom, just the finished size. I will need to keep better project notes in the future. :)
