Welcome! I am a new weaver who cannot stop picking up looms. I now have an inklette, tablet, 24" Harp, 12" Cricket, and 38" Lillstina. I've woven on each except for the tablets (copper!) and the 4-shaft floor loom. I bought the Beginning Four Harness DVD to watch (possibly tomorrow) at Stitches South.

Many of our local spinning/knitting groups also weave, and I hope they will come and join this group!

Table d' Art: Place Matters is an exhibition of textile works made in a variety of textile and fiber media produced by the Athens Fibercraft Guild . The guild was founded in the Athens area in 1975 and has been actively supporting fiber arts in the community ever since. Each year the guild puts together a challenge project. This year's project was to design a “Pair
of Placemats”. Based upon this concept, the challenge was to emphasize the execution of technique, mastery of the elements of design, creativity and to have fun with it.
