Hi DIY-ers,

Can anyone advise how to repair the wiggly pegs on my Ashford, warping board?  The pegs on the corners of the board are particularly shakey.  I notice that the pegs are held in place with a tiny wood peg.  Thank you in advance for your help!

Hans says to drill a hole from the back and use a screw - and a bit of Gorilla Glue to help them (it is an expanding glue).

Contact an Ashford dealer, or the distributor.  If this frame is new, feedback is one way that a company can improve their product.

As a temporary fix while winding, try putting a thread into the hole and tap the dowel back in.  Actually, I like to remove unused dowels when I am teaching a new weaver to wind a warp.  It gives them more space for their hand to move between the dowels and there is less of a chance to make mistakes.  But in order to have a frame where the dowels are removable, the frame has to be thick and the dowel holes drilled deep.
