A very sturdy, compact loom.  4/4, sectional beam, about 26" wide.  It is the direct "tie up" that is so very intriguing.  Anyone?

The loom you have is a Clement (out of business), made in Quebec, Canada. It's a very sturdy, fun loom. How do you like weaving on it? There doesn't seem to be much literature about them.

I have purchased a Clement loom with a slightly different tie-up --metal rods. The back brake (unattached at purchase )was rigged with a bootlace and eyehooks. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I was told there was never any printed information about the loom whenever you bought one. Maybe this is a rumor, but I heard that LeClerc was interested in buying the company but they never struck a deal. The Clement is one heck of a sturdy (heavy, solid maple), simple (direct tie-up) jack loom that was built for rugs but can do finer things also.
