I just joined this group and read all the old posts.  I have a question that I didn't see anyone else ask.  My big Macomber had a wooden peg for pushing on the lamm when I was tying up the treadle.  My Baby Mac doesn't have anything like this and so I just squeeze my hand into the small space and push with my fingers.  So I end up with dirty fingers at the end and have to remember to wash them before touching the yarn.  Is my Baby Mac missing a part or am I just not seeing an easier way to do this?
