John's Scarf

A request from my uncle to find a use for some merino superwash from Uruguay that he found on ebay, led me to thinking of making him a dressy scarf.  The photos don't do it justice, but there's slight variation in the dye job, so you get a really subtle, accidental ikat going on.  I finished the ends with a hem stitch while under tension.  Won't use single ply again if I can help it.  It was very sticky, and even though it held up great (only 3 warp breaks!) I was constantly worried about it.
