I'm Lori and I live in southeastern Connecticut. I learned to weave about 2 years ago. I raise alpacas with my mama and use the fiber we harvest from them. I weave scarves and shawls. Rugs are woven from our alpaca fiber that consists of roving wrapped around a jute or woolen core. I have recently been dyeing our fiber prior to sending it to a local mill to be processed. I plan on learning to spin as I LOVE yarn that is not uniform, ie slubby, thick and thin.
