Here are some pics of my first project.  What is causing what you see here, on the edges how it is pulled outwardly and then okay in the center and then

outwardly again on the other edge.

This next 2 pictures show it real well.  Just before the material goes thru the reed.  Takes off to the right on this pic

and then to the left in the last pic.   ??  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I have already taken it out twice and

I am going to wear out the yarn.

The weft isn't seated properly around the selvedge ends.  The weft needs to be snugged without any loops to make a secure edge.  This is done with shuttle handling as each pick is laid in.  I have video clips on Tou Tube.  My user name there is lauraannfry1

Looks like slack in the edge warps, they might have slipped out the edge of the warp when weaving. Or you may have not checked those edges warps when tying on and they became slack as the inner warp groups where tied.

Also, you have draw-in, the narrowing of the width.  Some weavers will leave the weft loose at the selvages when they notice that the weave is getting narrow.  In the photos you can see the warp threads sitting at an angle.

So, you need to pull the weft snug at the selvages and then leave the weft in an angle, up a couple inches from the fell on the side where you catch the shuttle.  Lift up your foot to close the shed before you beat, so that you keep this angle.
