Hi,

I purchased a PDF draft on WEBS.com for weaving a baby blanket (designed by Barbara Elkins). The draft threading is divided alphabeticallyA-B, B-C, D-E (border, pattern, border). There are gaps in the draft where no threading is indicated, specifically, blocks 19-22 have no information in them- this is also where "B" is indicated.

I'm not sure what to do with those empty areas. The same thing happens in area "D"- a gap of 3 spaces where no threading is indicated.

I'm a fairly new weaver but am trying to step up to more challenging patterns.

Am I missing something obvious? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance-

Michelle

Are there any notes included or anything other than block lettering marked on the draft? Are the block threads circled indicating what ends are in each block? The space may be to make it stand out and easy to follow when threading. ???

Ask the designer - any other advice would be merely guessing. She won't bite if you send her this question.

not a lot of extra info- I think I'll try to track down the designer to find out. Thanks for helping!
