There is a crafts revival all around the world with some very exciting and inspirational results from the most unlikely places! Youtube has some great examples of what is going on with videos and How-tos from both professionals and amateurs, but sifting through it requires time and patience.

It will be interesting to see what they define as cutting edge craft, because something like this is always subjective and often a little controversial. Thats good for getting discussions going and raising awareness and  interest in the creative crafts and arts.

A friend who already saw it commented it's funny how every young generation thinks they are revolutionizing craft at the forefront.  I don't mind that, I like that young people are involved in it.  I kind of get a vicarious enthusiasm from then.  And absolutely, the discussion is great!
