Just got home with my new Ashford RHL.  I knew the loom was unfinished, but didn't realize I was supposed to finish it.  I know Ashford has a wax they suggest.  I called the store where I bought the loom and they suggested Watco Danish Oil.  Wax or oil?  What has worked or NOT worked for you?

I've used WATCO Danish Oil on looms for years.  I gives a finish that is easy to redo and rub out all the knicks and blows that looms receive as we use them.  A bit of snadpaper or fine steel wool and a new coat or two of oil and it looks rejuvenated.

You can use then unfinished too, the draw back is that the dirt works its way into the wood  permanetly.

Thanks, Karen.  I finished the loom with the WATCO Danish Oil and it looks great.
