Evening shawl

I used a small black border on both selvedges to prevent salt and pepper edges.  This 12 shaft M's and W's was treadled in a network twill which was reversed at the mid point of the shawl.

Later, I diagonally knotted the fringe and added seed beads in black and silvery violet along the fell so it's fully reversible.

Very elegant and I now have a customer order for a shawl, same pattern, same fibre but using 2 shades of red and black.

This pattern was my creation playing around with my Fiberworks-PCW program.
