Has anyone heard of this company?   I "inherited" two cones of thread when I purchased a loom a few years ago.   The thread is 20/4 cotton, with a "silk finish."   It has more of a twist (Z) than I'm used to using, so it should be interesting to weave with.  If I didn't have the label, I'd think it was linen.  It's REALLY strong.   I'm using it on a warp, set at 30 EPI.  I won't mind having more of this, but googling didn't yield any results, so I'm thinking they are out of business.

I found this:

E J Yarns Inc in Pawtucket, Rhode Island (ri)

Name: E J Yarns Inc
Street: 445 Benefit Street

Pawtucket, RI 02861-1319

Phone: (401) 722-4447

If you order from them and they want a large minimum, I might be interested.  Sounds interesting.  I emailed Honora Spinning in RI a couple of years ago to ask about ordering from them, they make really nice worsted in a variety of weights.  I didn't expect to hear anything.  An hour later, the mill manager called me and I ordered 60# of 9/2 worsted in natural.  It's great stuff.

I just did a google earth on the address.   (I wish they posted the date of the pics.)   Anyway, I saw the store, so maybe they are there.   I'll call and let you know.

Thanks!

I finally got around to calling them.   They are out of business.
