A while back, Handwoven had an issue dedicated to deflected doubleweave. Does anyone remember which issue that was? I have quickly gone through mine all the way back to the 80's, but can't lay my hands on it.

Go to WeavingToday.com and select the tab for "Magazines".  Then select the "Handwoven Indexes".  You should be able to search there for the topic in which you are interested.

Also, some of the facebook groups have been weaving and discussing it as well. I can't direct any links from here because those groups are closed, so you would have to join them to see anything.

"8-Shaft Weaving" is one.

There is also a DVD with Madelyn van der Hoogt from Interweave on it.

It's what I've got on my little loom at the momemt.

Thanks everyone for the info. Can't wait to try it!

Handwoven Jan./Feb. 2007 issue has a nice article and projects on Deflected Doubleweave by Madelyn van der Hoogt. The black and white scarf is currently on my loom.

I think Andy Leisk has a video about weaving that scarf.
