When I prepare for a trip to a new place, I always check my Complex Weavers directory to see if any members live there. Now the directory is available online, only to other members. This makes it easy to search by location and copy the email address and/or website of the weaver I want to contact. In my opinion, just the CW Journal (the magazine for CW, with interesting articles on a wide variety of weaving topics and no projects) and the directory make it worth the cost of membership. I also belong to a couple of study groups. And the CW Seminars is my all-time favorite weaving conference. CW is for weavers who are interested in structure and interlacement, including tablet weaving and kumihimo, old weaving manuscripts, jacquard weaving, drawlooms, multishaft looms, 8-shaft looms, and more.
