What is the process for communicating with students who have signed up for a class? What's the best way of sending them handouts prior to a class? Email? Downloads?

For me, the best thing is to wait until they get to class, and then send the handout via email or have it ready for a download.

My reasoning for this is that if i sign up for a class, but am unable to attend, it's very rare that an instructor would hand out the material to those not present, even if the class was paid for, and I think the same thing should be done here.

If you send out the paperwork and the student cancels, they won't hear your voice in the material. It's about protecting your intellectual property as well.

You can send out a Weavolution Msg. the day before to the class participants requesting they send you their email addresses. Or simply ask them to "chat" their addresses to you once you're in webex. You can encourage the students to talk to each other while you send the docs.

I also have learned that it's very important to send a "reminder" email that the class is coming up - I (blushing) nearly missed a class and have had a student forget. So about 24 hours prior, i send a PM in Weavo to remind them of the class/date/time.

Welcome and hopes this helps!
