A Facebook group was started to help the earthquake victums in Christchurch here: https://www.facebook.com/handmadeforchristchurch#!/handmadeforchristchurch?sk=wall
Apparently, for now, anyone in the world can donate, but only Kiwis and Aussies can bid on TradeMe; they are working to remedy that. Donations go to the Salvation Army and Women's Refuge.
