I'm looking for a book with lots of fancy twill patterns for up to 8 shafts.  I have Twill Thrills coming, and already the Handweaver's Pattern Directory and Davison's books.  Can someone recommend their favorites or a source for fancy twills?

Look at handweaving.net. You can sort by number of shafts and work from there.

I spend a lot of time browsing handweaving.net (there is even a gallery section so you can see woven examples) but if you want something on your lap it looks like the A Weaver's Book of 8-Shaft Patterms by Carol Strickler may be coming back into print. This book has a lot of Twill and other weaves with a picture for each draft. http://www.interweavestore.com/a-weavers-book-of-8-shaft-patterns

I thought Twill Thrills was out of print, I have tried to order it and no one has it, where did you order it from

Weaving software Proweave has a twill tool that is really great.  You choose the number of shafts, and then can choose from about 200 different threadings, tie ups and treadlings, depending on how many shafts you have (I have 12).  You can choose the tie up, treadling and threading independently, so you can pick a threading and see what it will do with different tie ups, etc.  I have found the rest of this software a little confusing, but it was worth it for the twill tool.  You can use the tool in the demo, but can't save or print it [You can print screen and save it to a Word document].

Great post and right to the point. I am not sure if this is in fact the best place to ask but do you guys have any idea where to get some professional writers? Thank you Creative writing http://www.thebookpatch.com/
