Small sampling of Tartan scarves woven over the last couple of years, all in 2/2 twill, most at 30EPI in Jaggerspun Zephyr wool/silk. I have been weaving Tartans for nearly 2 decades now in blanketing, toweling , kilt & scarf weights and this is an on-going specialty.
From L to R they are: Black Watch, MacDonnell of Glengarry, Freemason's Universal, Red Morrison, County Tipperaray, Salt Lake City Arts Council Living Traditions Sett, Dark Morrison, New Brunswick Provincial, Nova Scotia Provincial, Clan Grant Hunting (aka Clan Campbell & many others...)
The New Brunswick is a 'segment', as it's such a loooong sett & it & the Nova Scotia are partly my own hand spun & plant dyed yarns. Also, two of the setts (Freemason's Universal & SLC Arts Council) Are my own designs and registered &/or listed with the STA in Scotland.
