Hi,

I've only tried weaving with a linen warp once and it was a disaster! It kept stretching on me and could not get a good selvedge at all. I want to try again and was just wondering if anyone had advice on what type of linen is easier to work with for a warp?

Thanks so much!

I think a 16/2 line linen like Bockens Lingarn is easy to use. It's very good quality Swedish linen and comes in an array of colors. It's been my experience that linen likes tension , not taut tension, nice even tension, it's not forgiving. As far as the selvedges I doubt you'll have trouble with the 16/2. Maybe some others will get on! Cathie
