When I moved house a couple of years ago I didn't bring the home made inkle loom I had. A weaving project I am in the middle of needs some bands. Rather than do it on my counterbalance loom or rigid heddle I decided to build another inkle loom. Some searching of different styles led me to the Glimakra band loom and other Scandinavian band looms. So I am making one based on the Glimakra with elements of other design ideas. Treadles are underway and I need to finish various elements including the rollers. Still some sanding, staining and finishing to do.
