OK, i'm whisper close to nailing this thing. The Greens are kicking my butt - but today's dye went soooooo much better (results) than yesterday. If you haven't already noticed, i'm a big girl, so my robozo needs to be wider than most - that's all I'm doing... dyeing for my rebozo!!

So using the mixing color sheets and the figure 1.2 (you can see my color coded here) I think I'm almost here. Will chip and notate them by class tomorrow.

Here's a pic to show the differnce in colors - The 5P wasn't even in the same hemisphere!! I only had success with 1 color!!! Today's dye netted me at least 6 or 7 - we'll see after they are dry and chipped.

What a difference a day makes.

I love the color wheel with all the pure dyes located on it!  In color no less.  And the skeins-- large rebozo it is.

Tomorrow is cinco de mayo and we should all wear white , red and green rebozos to celebrate, just like Frida did.

Have you found it to be helpful?  I think it's the cat's meow.  I've been experimenting- I want a diagram with the hues but also the concentric circles  for chroma like in figure 7.3.  I'd need to move the little colored balls outside the perimeter. Guess I have home work too.  I hope you have found this diagram really helpful.

Having us put the pure colors on the diagram was what finally helped me. I found it essential for working with the mixing worksheet -

I just found that chart online and modified it for me. : ) If anyone else thinks it might be helpful, i hope they feel free to download it.
