Notes:

This was my first rigid heddle project! I've been wanting a cross body bag that actually fit me, and this was a good way to make one. I had made a strap on my inkle loom with the self-striping cotton, and still had plenty left over to use on the rigid heddle loom to create the body of the bag. Length dimensions are approximate, as I didn't do a full measure after I wove, just went straight into making the bag. I initially sewed it using the same cotton as the warp and did a button, but I didn't like the way it looked. I re-sewed it using white upholstery thread, and I like the way this looks much better. I also didn't put the button back on, since I wasn't using it anyway. :)

Well done, you!

Your first project and you've applied so many skills. A very pleasing soft color combination, too. Wear with pride!

Thank you, Sue! I actually

Thank you, Sue! I actually brought it to Stitches Midwest this weekend, and people really loved it! (Also, brown and orange are my favorite colors, so...)

Thanks again!
