Good color combo - they should be great off the loom.
This became less rep-ish as time went on :) But now I have a new setof similar placemats. I get bored with the same thing so I changed it up each time. Also, I realized that I get bored with only one shuttle. So... there are more colors. I think I like the one with red/black wefts best. Or maybe the orange red.
I will have to see if I can do something about the selvages as I do the finish up bit. I was struggling with tension for the whole warp, so they are a bit wonky. I still need to do the repairs and weave in the ends and finish the fringed edges. But I tossed them in the washer and dryer, and pressed them hard, so they are essentially done!
I am impressed at how well they came out considering you wove them on a rigid heddle loom. I am surprised you were able to get the tension that you needed. I know what you mean about getting bored, I tend towards short warps for that reason.
