Notes:

Fabric to sew into a shirt-jacket with fleece lining.

Seems to be consistant with a 34 ppi beating rythm.

After wet finishing the fabric came out very soft. The pattern looks very even. Used a temple. The final photo does not show the colors as bright as they actually are for real though. The lighting has to be just right for photo taking it seems. :)Sewn from Simplicity Pattern # 1328A (Large)

Good fabric design

...in the pattern and color and currently trendy. It is a fabric I would have brought home when I was a seamstress. Please add a photo of the garment when it is finished.

Yes, I guess you are right

Yes, I guess you are right about the tartan. That is another project I need to weave, I did the Centenial already. :)

A little bump so you get to

A little bump so you get to see this lovely soft fabric wet finished. It's going to be a grand shirt-jacket when I get on with the construction. :)

More weaving ahead for more garments. ;)

Shirt Jacket

Very sharp. Nice job of matching plaid. I like the contrast lining, too. l lot of people sewing now think that a lining is just too much work and skip it, but it makes a garment easier to wear and longer wearing, as well as being pretty, and can be warmer. What did you line it with?

lining

Fleece lining for warmth in our windy and cool spring and fall, here in New Brunswick. I wore it yesterday in a hard NW wind that was in the teens most of the day. The wind never penetrated, but my face was cold. I think January just arrived. :D

Nice and comfy.

In summer I never wear a jacket, it is just too hot.

Amazed!

Your twill fabric came out beautifully woven in vibrant lively colors, and the finished jacket (oh my goodness) demonstrates so many skills coming together here!  So well done, Reed Guy!
