Now that's a festive table runner!
Your Monk's Belt is coming along beautifully! I'd love to have something like that on my table.
Thank you, Karen!
Thank you, Karen!
Very nice
I've got to learn how to do this! Looks amazing! Thank you for the inspiration. :)

Thanks! There's really nothing to it. You just follow the draft.
Very attractive!
I like that one!! Just the right amount of color!
Lovely!
Beautiful color and work.

I love monks-belt!
Wonderfull colors . This will be a beautyfull runner ( maybe for christmas).

It's not an original. It was a kit and the pattern is in Weaver's Craft Magazine Issue 26, I believe. Don't know where I got the kit, but could only be Yarn Barn of Kansas or Cotton Clouds. You really don't need the kit; the pattern suffices. And then you could also choose other colors for other holidays, too.
Thanks, everyone! Wish I
Thanks, everyone! Wish I could take the credit, but it was out of Weaver's Craft #26. Since I'd never woven turned Monk's belt before, I thought it best to let someone else work out the details. :-) I like learning new weave structures that way; gives me a foundation to expand on my own once I understand how it goes.
I tried turned Monk's Belt—
and loved it! I made eyeglass cases from the resulting fabric. It is easy-peasy to weave. (I am admiring how early a start you have on your holiday weaving. Wish I was in the same boat!)
