Love this!
They look so scrumptious! Thanks for showing about the tabs.
Towels
Ellen, as always your work is lovely and I hope you are feeling much better, we need to see more of your weaving!
Dawn
using chenille
The towels are lovely and I am so happy I found them here. I Have been debating with myself about making bath towels and whether chenille and cotton would work.
Thank you for being my inspiration and now I just have to purchase the yarn!
Great
Hi jmoster80
I am happy that this gave you the push to go for it :-)
It is an easy weave, and I have done it now with both cotton chenille and rayon chenille, both come out lovely. I use 8/2 cotton for weft and a very open sett, so the weft can pack in really close (4 ends per cm).
Have fun!!

Thanks, Ellen. I am awaiting the yarn now and appreciate the advice on the sett--I would have used an open sett, but not that open. Makes sense, though.
Have fun
- and I'll look forward to seeing your towels :-)
