These are spectacular!
I would love to see them in person someday! I hope you consider entering your work in exhibitions for handwovens, so they have a greater audience before being put into service as placemats! Wowser.
I had fun weaving them
Thank-you for your comments! This was my second project using a shaft drawloom attachment on my Glimakra Standard, and I love the design versatility it offers. Using the linen weft was a challenge, as I needed to learn how much to dampen it to get it to keep neat at the selvedges. I have used them once, so far, with company, and they didn't stain (even with wine)!
