These are wonderful! Can we see a photo of the loom too? Was it a DIY? I imagine they are quite ''dense'' and stiff-true?

I liked these coasters very much too ! Nice colourblending. I believe I have to make some similar for my Poul who likes beer ... :0)

the loom is the larger on on the right in this picture:

it wasn't a DIY loom... it's from Hazel Rose. but the smaller loom was a DIY.

the coasters are actually woven from a fluffy wool hand spun and not dense or stiff. they are soft and absorbent.

thank you! i used the fractal stripe method of controlling the color while spinning the yarn. i knit a hat from the bulk of it. these coasters were made from the remains of that skein.

You have done a great job with this backstrap weaving.  I am just learning, and my edges are still ROUGH!!!!!
