Friday, October 31, 2014 - the last day of Halloweave 2014 - where did the month go. I did not accomplish as much as I hoped but with one exception did either wove or filled quills everyday this month - yippee - wove five towels, prepared several towels, a couple of runners and a boundweave piece for hemming and rewarped the loom for some more towels. Now to keep the momentum going into the days and weeks ahead. If you are not already part of the "Daily Weaverliness" group I invite you to come on over and join us as we continue to try and do something weaverly everyday. It has been so fun seeing everyone's progress this past month - keep up the good work and weave on!

That completely shocked me when I looked at the calendar LOL

I have not been nearly as productive as I had hope. Alas. But I did accomplish some good things. And I did something fibery every day at least. I need to finish up these placemats and I need to get the quilt done and over ot my friend tomorrow! And I started a tapestry study group. All worthwhile things! Now for the final push.

That month went fast!  I was able to do something weaverly everyday and I did finish the two projects that I had wanted to finish, the tree tapestry and the advancing twill scarf.  In between those projects I was able to drag my tapestry loom up to the loft, design and start weaving a project in echo weave and almost finished up an inkle band.  I feel pretty good about it all.  It has been lots of fun seeing everyone else so productive as well.  Keep up the good work!

I would love to do something weaving related every day but find that just for a month is difficult enough. Maybe another year.
