Hello,
I'm just starting to learn back-to-front warping. I've asked some questions about it before, and was directed to Peggy Osterkamp's instuctional DVDs. I'm finally getting around to watching one of them, and it is extremely informative! Thank you for the great recommendation!
Now that I'm really diving into this, I'm realizing I'm not fully equipped. I don't have any lease sticks or what Peggy is calling an "end stick." Although these seem simple to make, they aren't that pricey and I'm considering just ordering some. My question is, what size sticks do I need for my loom? I have a 15 3/4" table leclerc, so I assume I would need these in that size: http://woolery.com/lease-sticks-leclerc-15-3-4-22-24-27-36-45-and-60.html. However, I'm not seeing "end sticks" sold anywhere, at least not under that name. It sounds like the end stick should be wider than your warp, but not wider than your loom. The one in the DVD looks larger in size than the lease sticks. Does a difference in size matter? Can I order three 15 3/4" lease sticks, and use two as lease sticks, and one as an end stick? Or is the end stick something completely different?
Help!
Thank you!
