I am over half finished with a navajo rug.  The right side warp (about 10) are fraying and are very, very loose  If I tighten they break.  Ought I to put new warps in place?  what do I do with the weak warps? Thanks

You can replacement them and then remove the old ones, leaving them in the lower part of the weaving and then threading them in and trimming when the weaving is finished.  It would be a good to figure out why this happened.  10 is a lot of warps (2 1/2 inches or so).  What type of warp were you using?
