Does figuring out which draft or combination of drafts you're going to use count as designing?

Absolutely Pam! I'm glad to have you join me! I have a belt to design for a friend and hopefully some samples for my Certificats of Achievement study.

I need to start planning out my certificate samples I think I'm happy with my mohair basket weave. I'm tempted to try freeform summer and winter with tthat warp as well. 

I was also inspired today to do so e teal, blue, and purple shades together. I'll have to let this idea steep. I also nedd to get back to my Van Gogh yarn wraps!

I have been wanting to try my hand at echo weave, so I did a bit of playing on my weaving software and this is what I came up with.  I just need to finish up the scarf that is on my small 8-shaft loom and then I can see how it weaves up.

They both look gorgeous! I'm designing for taquete, so I'm still on paper and will need to take and upload a photo after TAJ, goes to bed!
