I was wondering if someone can help me. When I roll up my front loom stick as have a several inches I need to roll up and resume weaving comfortably, it unrolls on me. I have my backstrap belt ropes wrapped around the sticks the Laverne describes in her tutorials, but it still unrolls on me. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you have it done the way I show in my tutorial, it shouldn't unroll UNLESS the second stick you are using is significantly thinner than your loom bar OR your backstrap ties are thin string rather than a heavy-ish cord. If it is the latter, try over-rolling a turn or two. When you lean back it should only unroll about two turns which will probably take you to the place you want to be.

If you are trying to roll-up a couple of feet of heavy-ish yarn fabric, that roll-up method won't work and you will need to use another way for which I have not yet done a tutorial.

If none of the above apply, I suspect you may have missed something in the tutorial. Let me know how you go.

I am using a thinner string although quadrupled. I did get some new rope to work with. I will see if that makes a difference.
