This is wonderful!  Thanks for posting all the project pictures.  You should be so proud of how your coverlet came out, it is really lovely.

Inspiring! What a beautiful coverlet! The panels seem to line up perfectly.

Thanks for the comments.  This was certainly my biggest and most complicated project so far.  Used the full capacity of my loom.

I'm regulary amazed at how much my cats MOSTLY leave the loom alone.  Except for some reason they were REALLY attracted to the floating selvedges as the drooped below the warp beam carrying weights.  I had to fix them five or six times before I covered them.  For some reason our young male cat loved chewing through the string!  The two girls just lay on the newly woven cloth and demanded pets now and then.  Sometimes WHILE I was weaving.

Funny thing about blocks lining up.  Fresh off the loom the match wasn't so good.  Almost 5 inches difference between them.  Wet finished and heat dried the longer, wet finished and hang to dry the shorter, they matched!  So I stitched them together.  The regular pattern made it easy to keep them aligned.

Just wonder what will happen when its washed as a unit?  If dry flat I hope it will be OK...

I am struggling to weave a bit of dobby as a yet-to-be weaver. This certainly gives me inspiration to keep tweaking my CB loom & get it to work.  After all, Grandma Moses didn't start painting until "middle age"! : >
