I am in the process of assembling this kit and have a question: the instructions talk about staining this loom, and they even provide the stain. However, they give no clue about staining the cloth beam without also staining the ends of the attached ribbons. Has anyone here had experience with this kit. I am a complete newbie with both weaving and loom construction. I appreciate any help that anyone can provide. Also, I am new to Weavolution and rather befuddled by this site. So if posting in an older thread is a no-no, please forgive me.
