I purchased a 20" Purrington folding loom earlier this year. I'm weaving a huck lace pattern with fine linen thread from Northern Ireland. Just interested in what everyone else is doing with their looms....

The loom came with allot of thread the owner must have used when she wove on the loom. I was afraid it would be too brittle to use, but is working up nicely. Since I am new to weaving, it will not be a perfect piece, but the first piece that I believe might have made the woman very happy.

Congratulations on your P!  Crazy I know, but where did you find yours?  Folks tend to hang onto them for a long time!  I have 300 ends of 10/2 tencel on my 20" and I'm just not happy with the project.  I'm thinking of pulling it off and repurposing the warp.  I want to do some scarfs for Christmas presents.  I am anxiously awaiting my new 26" P.  It may be ready by the first of October!

I found it one evening on E-bay. Just by chance and it only had a few minutes left to bid. But I won the loom and love it. I teach a small class of spinners, knitters, and weavers in the winter. So this loom folds and I can take it with me to class. I am using some of the old linen thread as warp and weft, and doing a simple huck lace pattern for a table runner. So you have ordered a new loom from the company. I love that they are still making them one at a time.

I have a Purrington folding loom with accessories, I'd like to sell... I know nothing about weaving. Does anyone know what a fair price would be and the best place to sell it?
