If you live anywhere near central Indiana, Robert, you should make a trip to Tabby Tree Weaver.  Linda Adamson is the owner and is very knowledgeable about looms and weaving.  She is a dealer for many of the ones you mentioned, including Louet, and has several in her shop that you can look at in person.  She's just north of Indianapolis in Arcadia.

I've owned looms from several manufacturers, but not Louet, so I can't give you opinons on it.  I do know that my opinion of the "perfect" loom for me has changed again and again as I've progressed in my weaving life.  I'm pretty happy with the mix I have now, but it's taken 6 years to find them.  And I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere down the road my needs and interests change and I'll want to change looms again.
