Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this forum, though I poked around here and there before signing up. Any ways, I am the lucky recipient of a 32 inch Rigid Heedle (7.5 dpi) by Ashford. I love this loom by my problem is the plastic pieces that hold the warp sticks in place. On the back side where I wrap my warp, the plastic pokes through because it does not lay flat like the front piece does. I was thinking of replacing these plastic pieces with a sturdy yarn or twine but I'm not sure if that would cause an issue with tension. Thoughts? Suggestions? I'm willing to try any thing. I've included an image of the plastic piece I'm talking about. I'd show how the back looks but I currently have a project warped on.
Thanks in advance for the advice!
